About Pen-y-dre Farm

Penydre farm animals including Kune Kune pigs

A brief history

The farm has been in the Jones family for over 80 years spanning 6 generations. It is a livestock farm covering 120 acres that thankfully escaped both the BSE & `Foot & Mouth` outbreaks.

Guests are welcome to look around the farm which also has a pleasant woodland area with a small lake where you can walk and sometimes see wild water fowl. In addition there  is a small animal farm with donkeys, ducks, geese, Kune Kune & Pot Bellied pigs, Soay & Welsh Mountain sheep,  rabbits and guinea pigs immediately to the rear of the cottages. Children are welcome to visit the animal with thier parent. But please ask permission first.

Pen-y-Dre means `Top of the village` but with conservative village expansion over recent years is now less accurate.
